I’m a terrible sinner, but by God’s grace in Jesus Christ, a forgiven saint.
I’ve been a pastor at Trinity Church of Winston-Salem (PCA) since 2012. As a church, we exist to glorify God by proclaiming the gospel and demonstrating the kingdom of Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit for the joy of all people.
Born in Florida, raised in San Diego, California and Austin, Texas, I came to Winston-Salem, North Carolina to attend Wake Forest University. After receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at Wake in 2004 and a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in 2007, I served as a college and young adult pastor in Winston-Salem for almost 4 years. Then I went on to advanced postgraduate studies at Duke Divinity School, receiving a Master of Theology in August 2012. In 2005, I married Sally, and now we have three children.
